I took the GI out again tonight and put 60 more rounds thru it. I used 8 different mags and shot 230 ball, 250 LRN, and 185 +P GD HP's. Not one flaw. Everything fed and ejected perfectly. Well except the 2 rounds that hit me in the head. This GI doesn't put every round in my face like my last one did. I had the ejection port lowered and flared on it, to take care of the problem. If I don't have to do that with this one, then I won't. I like the classic look. I'm going to try some truncated rounds again next time out.

I'm also installing the new trigger and MSH tomorrow.

...wonder if the black would scratch off easily??? I like the looks of black but gotta have the rust resistancy of the stainless...

I heard that the finish doesn't hold up well at all. It is stainless so it's not like it'll rust when the black wears off. I too like the look.
