Shot my new ones today

They grouped great shooting one handed, right out of the box. I loved them before I really love them now. Only took 100 rounds should have taken more.

Excellent. Firing a new gun for the first time is way up there on the fun-o-meter.

Re: Shot my new ones today

Yes your right there and they shot great too, I know with just a little work they will be great shooters for me. First a Wolfe spring kit (already ordered ) and some new grips I like the Hogue Rose wood checker grips myself. I need to call them Monday and see if the ones on their site are for the new bisley vaquero. If they are I should have them soon. Have to check the money first.

Re: Shot my new ones today

Do a poor man's trigger job . Clean all the oil and grease out of gun with brake clean and leave it unlubed . Cock the hammers and push the hammer forward with lots of pressure and pull the trigger at the same time , which will be very hard to get the hammer to fall . Do that about 20 times to take the burrs off the inside of gun and lube gun up and you are done . Take the grips off 1 side and lift the one side of trigger spring off frame and leave the other side alone . Now you should have a good free trigger job for 5 mins work .
