Recall on my TC Venture....

I just heard about a recall on my Thompson Center Venture. Smith and Wesson has recalled all Ventures that were made before October 2011. It is apparent that the rifle could fire without trigger being pulled due to a sear problem. I don't want to send it off, but have no choice. Have to be safe and for others around me. They are going to pay for everything there and back. I will send it off when the label comes in. Man I hate sending a gun back for repairs, kinda skeptical of this myself. JMO.

Is it going back to Rochester, NH? They'll take good care of you up there.

I'd hate it as well Beerman, but it's one of those things you have to do.

Yes it is Terry. I had to go online and get a shipping conformation and within 48 hours should have all the info to do this.. So they do good work there? Dumb question award....

You and TGR are correct, needs to be fixed and no one hurt makes a great day.

Wasn't there a thread about weapons being recalled on another forum? There they seemed to think weapons were never recalled.

Bummer for you though. It will be back in your hands before you know it though.
