You need to get the Air Hawk I sold 3 weeks ago or Whisper for hunting , which is over 1000 fps .. This one is only 700 fps . The workmanship on RWS is a cut above the rest in my book . I can't wait till I get the barrel broke in to see how it real shoots . The trigger is unbelievable out the box , real wood and no plastic and quiet . The muzzle brake keeps the noise down . And a lifetime warranty on gun and 5 years on springs and seals . I think the Ruger Air Hawk was 90 days .

Re: NEW GUN

Here the next 20 rds off hands at 25 yds . It's going to be a keeper .
I'm a little rusty at off hand shooting .

Re: NEW GUN [more targets added]

That's outstanding. Air gun matches are shot at 10 meters, about 33 feet. That sucker will shoot one holes groups at that distance. I want one.

You are bringing the groups down. Did you sit down?

Nice gun and good shooting

Re: NEW GUN [more targets added]

My group size would be smaller if I used the correct black bullseye size and sight picture with a 6 o'clock hold . I'm using a center hold or hunter sight picture , which make the group string up and down . I train with a center hold because the cowboy action shoot is about speed and my sight picture must be automatic . I hope this makes sense to you . When you shoot bullseye , you put the target on top of the ft sight watching the white or light gap between target and ft sight . The next time I shoot it , I will shoot 2 targets both ways and post it .

Either that's a good shooting BB gun, or you cheated.

If I had a ft sight like this on it the group size would be a lot smaller yet . The post is not a good bullseye sight . With the peep sights setup like this correctly you NEVER ALIGN ANYTHING up , you just look threw the sights and wait till the target get super sharp and pull the trigger . I shoot this setup at 200 yds and can see a white dot the size of a quarter . The white dot in pic is what black bullseye size should look like when it is setup correctly .

Re: NEW GUN and sight infor

I don't have a lot of experience with peep sights. I'm just getting to know them now with my AR. They seem to be easy and fairly accurate. I do need practice though.
