The Single shot I'd really love to get

Is a stevens 44 in 25-20 SS. Would idealy like one in 25-21 but good luck with that

I know nothing about the cartridge, but that rifle is classy imo.

I would love a Ruger #1, but dang they are expensive.

The last 44 Steven I had was a walnut hill target model in 22 LR in new condition . Sold it to a buddy of mine in SD Ca 20 yrs ago and it was a shooter . The trigger are hard to make them super light for target work . There is a company making new one in any caliber at a cost of over $3500 . You can find original ones in new condition for that price . I prefer the Ballard but they are not as strong a 44 ...
