It's been over 10 years since I fired this one. Accurate little bugger with it's 32" octagon |

30 years ago I was wandering around in Numrich Arms and got my hands on one on 54 cal I think.... but was a few dollars shy of the asking price, plus I had flown up there for Christmas with my family... But I still wish I had bought it.

Wow! It looks so thin. Like it would break in half when fired. |

That looks like a Hopkins & Allen Underhammer Rifle Smoke Pole, its probably a .32, .36 or 45 cal or even could be a shotgun.

This one is in 36 calibre & will shoot the gnat's a$$! Got a few squirrels with this one back in the day. The beauty of these is that you can easily change out barrels. The are sleek & skinny but hold real steady with the long heavy barrel. There is an outfit making these up to 8 bore dangerous game configurations! Johnny, maybe when we get together to swap that 8X50 (hint, hint |

Gunrunner, I love the central flash hole. The Cosworth of muzzle loaders. |
