Re: Assault weapons

I have been thinking about putting a scope on my M1A, been looking at the Smith mounts, any opinion?
Will have to do a search and see what I come up with. I love them service rifles and yours are looking good.

Re: Assault weapons

This one came as a special when I bought te rifle. $ 135.00 shipped for the scope & mount directly from Springfield. No idea on the smith.

Re: Assault weapons

I must admit that all but 2 in the AR-15 lower pic are gone. But if there is interest I can get another group buy going over here. They are stag lowers & the price was great.

P.S. Just looked it up, the R1A1 receivers are So. African.
Deadeye. Your R1A1 is a Century built L1A1 kit. Might be on an Imbel upper receiver (but it would say so on the right hand side) More than likely it is on a century receiver. They were supposed to take both metric & inch magazines but they never did so well with metrics.
You can drill the pin on the muzzle break & install a real L1A1 flash hider......they are cheap & it's about a 10 minute job.
