My pig gun

I never like a electric dot , but I got a deal on this dual color [ red or green ] Truglo 5 MOA . Should make a great pig gun day or night . I guess I need to put a spare battery in my ammo box . It's CR 2032 which is the common cheap one . How long do the battey last anyone know

Re: My pig gun

The one I had in mine died pretty quick, but it came with it, so it may have been junk to start with. Does it have any kind of auto shut off?

Re: My pig gun

No auto shut off , which I wouldn't like . If I going in heavy brush I would turn it on and leave it on for the fast shot . I hate to put the gun to my shoulder and it when to time out . How quick was quick . Mine has a rheostat to save battery.

Re: My pig gun

I had one on my 45/70, have never changed the battery in 5 years. I have left it on for as many as 10 days, still no problem but I put a fresh Duracell in it when I bought it and still have the spare I bought for a backup.

Re: My pig gun

I think mine was probably a junk battery to begin with. I never put another battery in it. I on't use it.

Longer than yours, I think it is a BSA, I'll have to check when I get home Saturday. Adjustable for brightness and size of dot, only red though. Here it is mounted on my Marlin 45/70.

That it does but got replaced with a Leverevolution scope last year. I'm thinking of mounting it on my Mini 14 but I really like it's ghost ring sights.
