As mentioned in a previous post, my Ruger 77/50's bolt would not stay back unless the safety was on. I sent the gun back to Ruger. They replaced the sear, trigger, bolt, safety, and breech plug! Basically have a new gun. I asked if possible, if they could have it back before BP deer season, and they got it back to me Friday. Today (Saturday) is BP season. Oh well, couldn't sight it in in time, but they did get it back before season! My only complaint is that they test fired it at the factory, but did not clean it. I just happened to notice on the repair slip that they test fired it, or I would not have thought to clean the gun.

Glad you got it back in time, and my personal experience with Ruger Service is like yours A+. Sent them a will used Security six that was spiting lead, they called it a safety check and rebuilt the gun at no charge to me.

i have always heard out-standing things about Ruger's customer service.....glad tehy did you right and fast..... i have never ever had to use it as all my rugers past and present have been top hand. Been thinking awful hard about ruger's new offerings........at the moment, the LCR appears inviting.......problem is, i don't want to have to trade to get into a gun........i sort of view what i have as essential to begin with.......to trade will just close up one hole but open another. guess i had best dig up a dollar and send the wife to get a lotto ticket.. |

I bought a Single-Six .22/.22Mag many years ago. After shooting tons of ammo through it, it finally got to locking up where the cylinder wouldn't turn. I sent it back, and when they returned it, they had completely rebuilt it. Its like a new gun all over. Thats the reason they have got most of my New Gun Money since about 1960.
