25 year Glock

As all true handgun fans celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the venerable 1911, Glock just had to get in on the act with a 25 year gun of their own:

Notice, all they can do to the ugly thing is slap a piece of tin on the side of the grip! Still the ugliest damn gun I ever seen in my life! Can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

I have both the 17 and 19, may be ugly but good shooters. I don't really think the bad guys care what you have when they are being shot at.

You are right of course. I will be the first to admit that the Glock is as reliable a gun that has ever been made. But, as I have stated before, it is also the only gun that comes straight from the box with no pride of ownership! If I ever bought one, it would be the 10mm.

Re: 25 year Glock

glock has at least seemed to address the deal about the supported chamber....now if they would just go to conventional grooves on the barrel for lead shooting i would be tempted. just hate the thought of having to go to an after-market barrel.

I don't like the look of that either. Personally speaking I would have rather seen them engrave the slide, that would have been a more attractive commemorative.
