50th Anniversary MK2

Well, guys, as the title states, my latest lay a way is a Ruger MK2 50th Anniversary gun. I had one of those when they first came out, and traded it off in a fit of madness. Wanted it back almost the next day. Well, this one has been sitting in the shop for a good long while with a consignment tag on it, so I never thought about putting it on lay a way, and didn't have the money to buy it outright. Come to find out, it wasn't really a consignment gun. The boss will sometimes put the consignment tags on them so people wont rent them to shoot on the range, and that is what he had done. Gonna get it for $325, tax and all, and of course, he let me put it on lay a way!

Kind of been on a .22 kick lately. Have bought the Flatgate Single Six, another 10/22 to go with the one I already had, and now another MK2, to keep my target one company. I guess with everything else costing so much to shoot, I been shooting the .22 more and more, and everything else less. Even reloading for everything is expensive now.

The 50th has black grips with red medallions. You are thinking of the Bill Ruger endowment gun.

Re: 50th Anniversary MK2

Well, got it out yesterday. Would post pics, buy my camera really sucks. Maybe I should buy another camera instead of buying more guns! As of right now, I have NOTHING on lay a way. I hope to God it stays that way. I really can't afford anything else, although I really want a GunSite rifle, a SR1911, a .22 SP101, and the Single 10!!!!

Speaking of the Single 10, we have had two in, and they sold within a day of putting them out. The SR1911 sells as fast as we can get them, as does the GunSite rifle. They aint easy to get though.

Re: 50th Anniversary MK2

They might be, Deputy. I haven't seen an SR1911 or a GSR in my local yet. I'm kind of glad.
