I have been buying parts for years to make this gun.For some reason i didn't care for the long mag on the 4" bolo with the small grip.I put it on a c96 with the 6" barrel and large grip and didn't like that . So i came up with this 6" barrel on a bolo small grip frame and the 20 rd clip. It has a great feel and looks more in portion to me. I'm thinking on a 4" c96 with the large grip next. All ya it shoots like a dream and the rifling is real nice in that barrel i got for $50 with the bolt too at a flee market doing a rain sale. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I can't say why, exactly, but I think those are neat. May have to have one someday. Molon Labe Kim |

The only screw in the gun is the grip screw. What a work of art.I love these old things. I have enough parts to build 2 more. Can't stop buying parts. I have 2 with matching # witch is rare for these. Deputy Its been a few hard months for me. Property tax trouble wife got to have a back operation. Mom fell broke hip and had a stroke too. lost my health insurence..You know same old $hit LIFE. |

Well we thought you were in jail. It's nice to know you weren't. Keep building those ugly little guns, Johnny and it'll keep you out of trouble. :P Sorry to hear that life is kicking you in the teeth. But it is what it does best. |

Those old Broomhandles have to be considered the "wart-hog" of hand-guns but they're so damned neat. Almost bought one at a gun show about 15 yrs ago.....the guy was asking a fortune but all S/N's matched and even had an original holster. Anyway, as BH said, glad you're not in jail and hope things settle down a bit for you Johnny. Great pics and nice work on your part.
