looks like a typical govt solution.........instead of just replacing the inexpensive springs, spend money and complicate the heck out of it.......

An expenive idea that fixes a problem that does not exist with a solution that will will create many problems. The democrats must have finally decided to add something to the gun world rather than take away from it. Perhaps this is progress.

I have a ton of loaded magazines sitting around. They've been loaded for about a year and will continue to be so. I doubt I'll have any problems with them.

...never had a magazine fail...cheap or first quality...lived a sheltered life, I guess...always leave 'em loaded...
