Hey, Tim

How did you remove your sling ring? The write up said to use pliers. Does it just break or what? I don't want to damage the gas block.

Ok. I just didn't want to screw up the damn gas block. I already know how to cut the barrel off, so I'm good there. It'll be a mini, mini when I'm done with it.

I did it. I used the dremel, a drill bit and small file and now have a nice quiet sling on my mini. Thanks for that link, Tim!

No problem. Pretty simple procedure, and it is much better with the QD swivels.
