I'm a huge fan of the M14. Anyone else?

...trained in boot camp with one...then in ITR we got M16s...what a letdown...haven't been able to buy an M1A yet, but it's on the short list...my favorite high-caliber rifle ever and well worth the weight...PM sent

Have shot them, fondled them, and lovingly want one bad, but have never owned one. I breaks my heart everytime at work when I sell one!

I work at Knob Creek Gun Range. We have close to 3000 guns in inventory. Probably have 10 (at the most) M1As. | ||

Dan I have been looking at one of these for one of mine http://www.sageinternationalltd.com/si/ ... EBR_DM.pdf Weight and bedding is going to be the big issue for me. I like the JAE but I think it is like 7lbs for the stock only. I’m waiting to hear back from Sage to see what they weigh. Danny |

...military wood stocks were just oiled, weren't they??? that'n looks great...better'n the fiberglass one we trained with in 69...how'd you get a true M14??? I'd buy an old one before I'd buy an M1A, if I could buy either...can still feel the bolt in my hand...only thing I've ever wanted on an M16 was the firing pin...they make a neat nailset...

Are the Divine M1A's worth getting? I've never shot one, and they always seem to cost more than they should.
