how to shoot a army rifle (1943)

http://www.90thidpg.us/Reference/Manual ... _Rifle.pdf

The U. S. Army Rifle-be it the M1903 (Springfield), M1917 (Enfield),
or Ml (Garand)-has the range, caliber, power, and accuracy to kill Nazis and japs, All that is required is a soldier well enough trained in rifle marksmanship to hit the enemy in the right places.

...well worth the read...and re-read...taught me more about sights than the Marines did!!! They taught us to shoot it as it was...guess they were in a hurry...
