They aint much to look at, but everybody I know that has bought one of the carbines likes it. Now, the handguns are a different story. I wouldn't own one either, but for someone that can't afford anything better, it beats a sharp stick any day.

My local will not buy or sell the handguns, but will the carbines. I think Jen will have one of the 45's. Looks like a neat little rig.

We saw one. It was in 9mm and expensive too. She did like it though.

Make sure you get one with the larger capacity y magazines, if I remember the 1911 mags don’t work in it.

I'm curious about the High point high caps myself. Are those carbines double stacks?

The Beretta feels like a cheap toy in hand. I'm sure it functions fine, but feels cheap.

...and the Hi-Point reminds you of your grand-daddy's rifle??? ...there's a niche that hasn't been filled since Marlin quit the Camp Carbines...Ruger tried, Beretta tried, Kel-Tec tried, and Hi-Point's trying...an inexpensive carbine that was completely reliable would sell like hotcakes...in .45, not just 9mm and .40...wood stock would be fine...I'm tired of the plastics, too.. |

The wood, wood make the gun heavier. I like the plastic on the little carbines. make them a nice little gun to toss around. Leave it in the garage, basement, truck, etc.
