Just joined here, and this is an older post. But, if still around, I'll post this. My friend bought his granddaughter an SA-08 20ga. She just loves shooting it for trap and shooting clays. Ruby is mighty good with this gun, so, these go highly recommended from her's and other reports.

I know I am coming in late on this thread.
Just picked up a Weatherby SA-08 28 Gauge. See my post under the Gun Pictures thread.
So far I have found it to be a very nice shotgun. It is the first 28 gauge I have owned and shot.
It is made in Turkey and has a Walnut Stock. I took mine apart and put the mic's on the parts. They all measured the same. Who ever did the CNC machining was spot on that day. Great little gun.
