The good old days...

My mom wants to go dove hunting with my dad down in S. Carolina this year, so I've been giving her lessons on shotgunning. This is a 1970's Remington 1100 20 gauge Skeet model. It's what I've been giving her lessons with. It's out of my dad's prodigious shotgun collection.

This was made when the skeet models came with excellent wood, and good recoil pads.

Enjoy the eye candy.

Dude, that's why they make Mossbergs. Leave the 1100's alone.

Re: The good old days...

...when I was a pup, I'd carry my uncle's gun till time for shooting...he had various problems with bad back and such...but no problem buying a poor lad's shotgun shells and lunch....I'd wag my 311 12 ga. in one hand and his 1100 in the other....
