Its a JCPenny High Standard, someone cut it off. For and low enexpensive shotgun it sure has a smooth action. Hit the bolt release and she slides open all the way. Has a little surface rust nothing bad and the recoil pad is dried out but I have those on hand and can easly fix that with a new one.

I was a 870 Remy man till I got a 1100 Remy , what a pusscat to shoot . It takes a 12ga and takes the recoil out of it and it will improve your target hits . DON'T get a Benelli auto if you are recoil sensitive , that super fast loading kicks hard then a pump to me ...

[bWith the present sitution in the government I would say so. I use to think well you only need 1 shotgun 1 rifle center fire 1 rim fire rifle 22 pistol 357 mg pistol and a 45 auto. I have since changed my mind.
This old shotgun if it could talk could tell the stories of its days in the bird hunting. Now someone has cut it off now sold it as they didn't need it or want it for what ever reason. But now its come to me to live with me.
Somew folks would say its a beater shotgun just throw in the pick up. Well I don't do that not even in sass. Its going to be my truck gun, I am going to get my shooting pardener to fix a canvas dust cover for it. I would use leather but leather won't let the gun breather and it would rust.
A few things need to be done to it needs a new recoil pad and a bead sight. Might put a fire sight on it not sure just yet.
Up date going to put a Marbles fiber sight on both the mod. 12 16 ga and the high standard. They will both have to be drilled and tapped anyway. Color of choice green, sorta like the Duke told them Pay Day Boy's come and get it lol.][/b]

3 shoulder repairs on the rt ones and the last they couldn't fix . I lost a big range of motion and it took me out of serous shooting and that's I can only type with my left hand . And no heavy kicking guns ....
