Anyhow that is wha t a gun shop own told me then added he didn't sell any 3 1/2 inches shot guns lol.
Sorta like a the 375 winchester the old 30/30 was doomed ya right.
That makes sense to me, Snuffy.

Re: Types of ammo

The "Hevi-Shot" outfit is marketing something called "Dead Coyote" shells. Tis' said that the things are heck on four-legged creatures...but...I bet it would take a "bank loan" to buy some....

Re: Types of ammo

It's over $30 a box from what I've read. The #4 buck shot is way cheaper.

Re: Types of ammo

Yep, #4 Buck is certainly a better deal. Seems that if ya' choose "Hevi-Shot" the cost is between four to six times that of lead, and for the same number of shells!

Somebody on the forum...I think maybe it was Snuffy, but my old mind ain't positive, made a pretty good argument for lead "BB" size shot for "critters". I try to keep some of it around, as well as "00" and #4 Buck and, if th' Buckshot don't work...as Sheepdog pointed out...I, too, am outta th' fracas!
