This suppose to be my travel shotgun, staying away from home in motels. But this is not going to work for me if I need her and she dumps her load at the first sign of danger. I am sure this can be fixed, I really hope so got a case of shells. |

Snuffy, that is one of the few poor design aspects of the model 12. Make sure you put the last shell in WELL PAST the magazine catch or they will spring out like that. If it will hold one shell in the mag, than the catch is not wore. It just takes a little practice to speed load a model 12's mag tube as they can be kind of finicky.

There is lots of parts on gunbroker for them + they are easily installed.Just don't give up on the old girl,she has lots of use left in it.Just needs some TLC..
