...with all the Judges and Bond derringers...you'd think the 9410 Levergun from Winchester and the corresponding one from Marlin would be more popular...both died on the shelves and now, if you can find one, are over a grand...not a bad idea but not worth a grand to me....

Me either. I just don't have enough use for a 410.

...used to be, when .410 shells were cheaper...it was the ideal gauge for snake...but now, the .410s can be the MOST expensive...they price by scarcity now...if you can find them at all...

Wish I'd bought one when they couldn't give them away. One of those with slugs, would be fairly formidable. And I have a friend with some acreage East of here, that will only let you hunt his quail with something 28 gauge or less. With this group you have to go some to show up with a novelty. i like lever actions......but a shotgun lever seems to had been a dead end even back in the real west.........just no sales. I guess the pump shotgun killed the lever shotgun......more or less the way lever rifles dominated over pump rifles. now if we could just get someone to build a revolving shotgun similar to this in 410 ![]() or taurus could do this one easily........more or less problem still exits though.......a few interested nuts like me but no volume sales........... |

...great idea...(what's left...belt-fed Judge???) For a youngster's first repeating shotgun that'd be safe and easy to learn on...

I saw that posted somewhere else a while back. I like it. If the price is right, I would seriously consider owning my first 410.

I just checked they are about $450 or so. I think they would look much better with a straight grip stock like the BP repro shown above

It looks to be double action capable. Would that be why the pistol grip? I would be nervous about putting my wrist along the front of that cylinder. |

I would never put my hand in front of a percussion cylinder.

There is a flash guard in front of the cylinder th stop gas cutting of the forward arm/hand ![]() I think they use standard Taurus Judge frames hence the ugly pistol grip |

Thank you. That probably makes them more comfortable to shoot.

Yeah the blast out of the front end of the cylinder would suck without that guard. It's kind of cool. It would serve no practical purpose for me, but it would probably be fun.
