my buddy came by today........sure am glad he has got back on his feet. He had already re-aquired the blackhawk from me that i had "leased" from him a while back and today he brought in and showed me his replacment 410 shotgun.

it is one of those yildiz single shots that Academy Sports sells. Academy is heavy in this line with singles, sxs, and o/u's in various gauges.

this little puppy was sure trim and i think the word is suave-ette. just an absolute delight to handle and point. we are gonna mess with it tomorrow and see how she does with slugs and shot as he has two young boys that will use this for deer and rabbit. a 410 slug is plenty good for our small TX whitetail especially as we got the blind dang near within archery range.

what is interesting about this gun is the trigger to break it and the gun self-cocks on closing i believe.......or is it opening? either way it is stiff to open and close as a hammerless design. this shotgun also "folds" to become very compact. Long skinny light weight barrel.......her listed weight is 3.3 pounds!!!!. definately an adult-size 410 in stock length but we will cut it down as needed...........
