Re: Guess What

Yes I can well agree with that, any time the government can come in and tell youhow you can or will run your business its going to be a mess. If your business is of any size it's really a mess. Heck where I work we have to hire them rightoff the welfair line, no work habits.
TGR I checked out the site, he is the one that does the silver sodier on thehammer but thanks any ways. I may still use him for the point of aim work.

Re: Guess What

snuffy........you are running 500 rds per week thru each revolver?

mercy, you mst definately be on first name basis with the gun shop on powder and primer ordering.........

and the ups man probably has a hernia from the lead hauling!!!!!!!!

i wish i could find the time and resources to shoot half that amount.........

i am techinacally on vacation this week but have been puting in hours on two Writs that came in and i'm under a time deadline as this involves land seizure and sale (no one else at the S.O. knows how to play Snidely Whiplash with the laws and procedures)

.......sort of nice to go into the office in civillian cloths with a revolver on my hip instead of that sig.......but then the judge calls me into his office, wants to get a cup of coffee and visit so we go to the gas station, then others want to visit......2 hrs later i finally get back to the office.....

Re: Guess What

oh yes......socializing is a mandatory part of this profession......

every morning at the main office, the Sheriff usually goes thru 2 pots of coffee with all the morning coffee drinkers that stop to visit.

then there is the Thanksgiving dinner at his office for all courthouse employees, then the Christmas bar-b-q is coming up along with the toy drive for kids for Christmas.

you have to be sociable and flexable at this S.O........almost part of the job description as everybody knows everybody around here.......that is why i am the black sheep that deals with Writs......no point in getting folks mad at all the deputies.....

snuffy...you said something about poi problems....are your NV way off????

Re: Guess What

A match gun/ practise gun is set up top shoot no more than 15 yards, they take off the front site to complete this. Factory guns are set up to shoot out to say 50 yards or so. Basically poi is across the room. But right now I am not shooting anything don't want the to break again. I see from other gun site that ruger is sure getting kicked around Ya would thank they would know the end of their time is coming if they don't wake up soon.

Yes you can practice and of course your guns don't break like my Bisleys have been doing here lately.

Re: Guess What

Well i would if I knew how to do that. But the easiest way to tell you how to do that is just type in Master Craft Bullets onceitpops up clickon thelink and you will be there, just tel Stormy you know me and he will treat you right. He would dothat weather you mention me or not. I buy only his bulletsand really feel like I was trader if I have to buy someone else's bullets and I only do that if he doesn't make them.
As you can tell i am a very hard customer to please but Stormy can easlier do that, 1 because he takes pride in his work and does a outstanding job, always gives you a few extra also.
