a swing-out cylinder western revolver..............kind of reminds me of the ole' High Standard "double-nine" .22/.22mag. you could use the ejector rod or swing out the cylinder as well on that one.......

Personally I don't like the swing out cylinder , but it is and can be a big plus . Now the short stroke hammer is and will be the hot setup in the SASS/CAS game . It cost big bucks to get it done to a SA gun ask Snuffy . The high spur on the hammer is great for 2 hand or supported shooters . Since both my shoulders will not let me shoot unsupported anymore , the high spur is looking good for me . All my Vaquero's have lower custom hammers on then and if my shoulder don't get better I will need to change then and go to the short stroke , high spur hammer .

The high hammer spur is the only thing could cause a problem , the half cock is a legal mod . The swing out cylinder should pass also , it appears to look the same as the non swing out gun , which make it legal .
