The original Vaquero is a XR3-RED. The New Vaquero is XR-3, except it has an internal lock.

I had a feeling that's why. The wood grips on it are nice, but I was looking for some Elk. Sack has some nice ones, but I don't have the money. Looks like it'll be keeping it's wood grips for a long while. |
