Good experience with Ruger Customer Service

My 44 Mag Vaquero's cylinder was binding. I called Ruger and they suggested I put a known good base pin in it, which I did. Still did not work correctly. Ruger said send it to us. So on the 7th of May I took it to my LGS and received it back on the 21st! Cost me $16.22 shipping. They replaced the gate and latch pin, and said they "repaired" the barrel. But the barrel now has the "marquee" under the barrel and the blueing is perfect. Gun runs good now and shoots accurately. I am a happy camper and say "good Job" Ruger.

Glad things worked out for you. Strange that a base pin would wear out, but its fixed and your happy that is what counts.

Snuffy:
It wasn't the base pin. They did not replace that.
