One extreme to the other . After firing the the P90 45 ACP I switched to the Bearcat. Very fun gun to shoot but wasn't too accurate at 25 yards. Maybe after a few hundred rounds I may find some accuracty with it. Still fun to shoot.

They are neat little guns. I have owned a few over the years, all old models. I like the Single Six a bit better, as it fits my hand so much better.

The only reason I've never owned one is because they are so tiny. They are neat as all get up though. Practice, practice, practice. Then practice a little more. |

A good friend of mine had a bearcat years ago and I enjoyed shooting it when we'd have some range time together. I'm not sure why I never ended up getting one of my own but this would probably be the SA .22LR I'd get if I were in the market for one. |

I've owned a ton of Ruger SA 22 , Bearcats and Single-Sixs and I think this gun is 10 time better gun in my opinon . It is more accurate and DON'T lead up like all my SA Ruger 22 do after 50+ rounds . The new Cimarron have all the trick spring in them and they are bullet proof like a Ruger , thank to the CAS/SASS shooters . You still must carry the hammer down on a empty chamber if you carry it . I took a brick of 500 22 and put 12 rounds on a paper target and then shot all but the last 12 rounds on my steel target and then put it back on paper target below . When I was done not a spec of lead in the barrel . My Rugers I would still be cleaning them . I love Ruger guns , but not there SA 22 guns . |

The Bearcat is another one I have developed a serious want for. This will be an either or situation the new SP in 22 or a stainless Bearcat.

My wife has a Bearcat...it's really neat. I probably shoot it more than she does. It carries nicely in a pocket, looks classy and, well, heck, it's just plain fun! Agree on th' cost, Guys...even reloading is gettin' danged expensive...shootin' more n' more rimfire these days! And...the Uberti looks good too! You just can't beat a .22 handgun for fun, practice, small varmits n' "all around stress relief!" |
