I am addicted.

I posted about " What do I do" in another thread. My choice was adding a S&W revolver to my collection or a Browning HP stainless. Well I can't seem to remove my self from Rugers. I went to the gun show today and saw what I was looking for for a while. I iam the proud owner of a New Model Super Blackhawk .44mag with a 7 1/2 barrel. I have wanted a .44 mag for a while, so now I have on and still have some cheese to look at another firearm.it was made between 1978 & 1979. Pics will come when I get back to work on Tuesday.

Well, that was a departure from the plan, and well done too!

I got mine new around that time period. You may have to work with some loads as with the rear sight bottomed out on mine and it was still shooting high. Instead of a higher front sight I had it D&T'ed and put a Bushnell Red Dot on it. It's a load to haul around now but shoots well.

Gotcha. I saw one today that was already set up, but for the price of the one I got I couldn't pass.

Boy, ain't that the truth, I have more post-it notes than anyone I know, I have-em everywhere, on the computer, on the steering wheel etc.

Don't forget milk, remember to call the nephew, remember meetings in the morning, blah blah.

I've found that if I'm just headset on something I end up paying too much. Now I go with a wide 'wants' list and get whatever is the best deal.

Beerman you done good my friend.
I have a Liberty 7 1/2" SBH. It was like brand new until I put it on consignment. It has a few light scratches thanks to that. I'd still rate it at 99%. I decided to keep it and it's been locked up for years now. I know you'll love that gun. You made a great choice.

Love it when a plan unexpectedly changes but works out for the better. Congrats on your new SBH
