Re: Waiting

Thanks for the help and idea's yes it does take alot of practice. That is one of the many reasons I want to get all my bills paid and will have much more money to pay for my shooting.

Re: Waiting

Yes they are who is going to sleep tonite lol. I am going to Tin Star this Saturday in Fedricksbugr I am thinking of trying them out there right out of the box. That way I'll know what needs to be done to them for main match guns. A friend of mine will mess with the before he shoots them, I figure give them a try and see what they wil do first then make the changes needed at that point.

Re: Waiting

...does your rig carry one on hip and one crossdraw??? I've never liked one on each hip...I'm not at all right-handed and would be wasting the right holster...I don't think we've seen your leather....

Re: Waiting

I like cross draws , but in SASS/CAS they have a 170 degree plane and you need to be very careful you don't brake it and get DNQ .

Re: Waiting

TGR I am sure you mean 170 right I have one on each hip and I shoot with right and left hand. Well the new guns are rough as a cobb and I can't use the grips off my other guns. I sure love them, going to get them engrved and and action job on them too boot. Well one thing about them they will build up my thumbs lol.

Re: Waiting

No they weren't just cost alot more than I thought they would. I plan to put some nice checker Hogue grips on them and have them tuned. They are new and I like new but I also like them smooth as silk.

Re: Waiting

Thanks yes it does cost alot, I have to go get my eyes checked here in a little bit. I plan to go shoot them tomorrow, I am sure they w2ill do fine. They have already loosened up alot just by working them. Shooting them will help also. Next weekend I am going to talk with a fellower shooter to see what he will charge to do the owkr and alos too see what he does to them. Get my price and start saving for it.

Re: Waiting

Up date on Tin Starr they shoot on the 4th weekend of the month. So my guns will have to wait until next weekend to go to a match.
