Re: where can I get

i've never seen a cartridge converter for 45 to .22......

most of the converters i've seen in the past were sold by "old western scrounger" and "cheaper than dirt" and were mostly cartridge adapters to convert shotshells into a centerfire pistol cartridge.......or go from a larger guage to a smaller guage shotshell.

Re: where can I get

I have seen them. They are inserts you put in the chamber of your .45 that allows .22 LR to be shot out of it. Can't see much use for it though, as the .22 bullets is wouldn't not even touch the rifling in the barrel. Can't remember right now, but I am thinking Sportsman's Guide used to sell em.

Re: where can I get

very interesting!!!

i suspose that the converter is full chamber length for the cylinder
and the 22 rimfire is slightly off-set since its a rimfire.............

the remaining length of the converter is rifled? so its like a 1/2" barrel inside the converter?

wonder if its for 2 shorts only?

Re: where can I get

Found then on sportsmans guide. So it will work for me to practice cowboy shooting cheaper. Not a great range that I shoot at.
