Survival of the helpless!!!

...a little two-year-old girl died near here yesterday...the temperature in the car that she was forgotten in for three hours was 130 when measured...she had managed to get out of her carseat, but was unable to get out of the car...can you imagine the grief of her Dad who forgot her...thought the older kids had let her out...and the family?!!!

...31 this year across the country...9 in Texas...PLEASE remind everyone you know...please notice and report any children left in the car alone to the police...it can't be made right...only prevented...

That is truly horrible and deeply sad. I've got 6 of my own. Head counts is a way of life.

That is weird. I just looked back at this post and saw that all my original comments were not there, only the quoted text. Well I said something along these lines:

I have great respect for you parents of large broods. I have a friend has 6 so far and my aunt and uncle had 6. I was an only child and we stopped after adopting 2. Totally love my girls and would not trade them for a case of ammo, but we are very happy with stopping at two. You are the man Bustah!

Re: Survival of the helpless!!!

I'm sorry . I think the dad should be locked in a car at 100+ till he passes out and then do it for 3 days in a row . There is no way you can forget a 2 year old in a car ... I always wait for my wife to get my son out of the car when we got home , before going in the house , and if a teen was going to do it I would follow them in the house . I don't feel sorry for the dad in any shape or form . THIS IS THE WAY I FEEL
