Still very spotty, up here, as far as 22 LR. Can go a month without seeing anything in any of our stores. 22 mag is even worse.

I reload everything except 22 and I think my 22 stock pile will out last me , And my center fire stuff I can keep NCG shooting for a many years . I stock piled powder and primers . And my BB and pellets gun I'm good for life also . So I no longer keep tabs on ammo prices anymore .

I passed up some Winchester "333" this morning, $20.

First .22 my favorite source has had in two weeks, but I don't like Winchester that much. It's almost as bad as Remington.

I do like Federal .22LR, any kind. I haven't seen any anywhere since Christmas. When I see hundreds of Federal Value Packs stacked up at any of the big boxes, any day, any time, The Shortage is over.

Right now, my stash is big enough that I can afford to be picky and only buy Federal.

I was buying a lot before Christmas, but now it seem to be in a lull again. I'm still buying enough to keep me going. I bought 1000 Blazers this month. I think I bought about 5k of CCI Standards last month.

If things head downhill, again, on ammo availability, I'm not going to fight it. Someone else can have our share. I'll just shoot air guns. That seems to be a bigger and bigger part of our shooting every year. More than satisfies my shooting addiction and never have to fight to find ammo. Cheap, too.

With Clinton in the running for president, you can bet there will be another big run on guns and ammo. Stock up while you can. If you thought Obama was bad ...

I need to buy more .177 pellets for air guns. Which reminds me; I need to head outside and shoot some.

The only local place I have seen bulk packs is Cabela's, The other chains have small amounts of 50 round boxes of mostly aguilla behind the counter.

That's the way I have been finding it too. It seems like it was just about over, but since all the recent happenings out there along with guess who's EO, it seems to be tightening up again.

Reasonable Ammo anyway. You can always over-pay, lol.

The newer Remington Golden Bullets work great for me & I did not use to like them.
I never buy Winchester 22lr, but like their .17HMR Varmit ammo,

I have good success with the Federal bulk packs & the Fed. Automatch.

I reload all my own center fire ammo & have enough consumables for 18-24 months.

I got caught napping the last election & I am ready for this one.

+1
My best guess is that as the next election gets closer, popular types of ammo may become more and more scarce......again!

I bought 2 of those Winchester 333 boxes for $37 last week. Couldn't pass it up at a little over a nickel a round.
I've never had a bit of trouble with Winchesters, but if I do I'll run them through my single actions.
