I already have several cases of it. Its one of the best LRN HV bullets around at the low end price.

I have quiet a few rounds of .22LR, mainly Remington Golden Bullets, followed by Federal Bulk ammo, Federal Automatch & Blazer. I get good results from all, but would have to say of the 4, the Federal Bulk packs have the highest # of duds/weak rounds. | |

Got a box at Sportsman's Friday for $ 21. A little high, they wanted $ 19 a month ago. AM is the only Federal I've seen since Christmas, and not that often.

I've always sworn by Auto Match, but I seem to be going through a bad box right now. Had a dud the other day, and I've been getting some crazy wild fliers, even at 50 ft pistol. I'm picking up 2 more boxes I had shipped into the Cabela's store, to add to the 12 or so boxes I already have. Hope those are better.

My experience with Automatch mirrors what others are saying, here. We can shoot several boxes and not a single dud, then open the next box and have a bunch. Overall, though, it shoots pretty well in most of our guns. Just don't trust it enough for any serious work. Great plinking and shoot for fun ammo, though.

I got another box this morning. It seems to be all the rimfire that Federal is making anymore? It does okay in all of my guns, but just a bit better than the Value Packs. I can live with it just fine for $21. |
