How Many In A Row Can You Do?

So, how's your 50 yard shooting doing? How many 10's in a row have you shot? I have
done five. My wife Paulette did seven, and they are inside the 10 ring. Some people!!

She shoots a 32 Mouzan with Rayl barrel

TX Gunrunner, this is at 50 yards, not 25! If you want 25 yards here is 10

I don't understand this game and how do you know when to stop at 5 or 7 and not 8 or 9 .

My wife was just shooting practice at 50 yds and she always shoots 10 shots because that
is what is required in the matches at a Friendship. I was spotting for her and noticed they
just kept going into the "10" ring. She got 7. The other three shots were a 9 and a pair of 8's
The end result was 10 shots on the target. It doesn't mean anything . It's just how many
"10"'s were in a row. I did five once in a match at 50 yards in a row. I thought 7 was pretty
good. I guess the shooters at Friendship just don't shoot as well as the World Class
competition shooters do. Eight 10's and two 9's at 50 yards is the most I have seen at
Friendship. But that 10 ring is just over 3 inches in dia. With a 10 ring that big most any
good shooter ought to be able to keep 10 shots in there at 50 yds. Now when you take it
out to 100 yds, it gets somewhat harder. Wife won the 100 yd. match at Friendship with
a score of 78. She had most scattered all over the black bull, even some in the white.
Wouldn't call it much of a group, but it was enough that day . Congrats on your shooting.
You shoot very well. I'm 72 and have seen my better days. But it's still fun. CU

I'm 70 and being a diabetic my blood sugar plays hell with my eyes and my asthma and COPD play hell with controlling my breathing to shoot . I never try 50 yd shooting with a BP and a round ball in a pistol that should be interesting for me . All the BP matches I've ever shot was at 25 yds except for the BP pistol silhouette matches .

My question is why didn't she try for 8 , 9 or 10 in a row before pulling target ???

I think they fixed the target for the pic. After she hit seven she pulled 8,9, and 10 a bit. Look at the ring between 8 and 9 at 4 o'clock, 8 o'clock, and8:30 tgr.

That is correct. I just wanted to show how many 10's in a row . Not the whole thing. That
was the whole idea of my post, to show how many 10's in a row. Nothing else.

When I moved from Az to Tn then to Tx I losted all my targets I shot to win medals . We don't get fouling shots or sighters that is why we shoot 13 rounds and pick out the best 10 for score .
