Re: Mendi Replica Spanish Pistol

I did 24 years in the Military. 16 as a Cop and the last 8 in Hospital Administration. I did plenty of range time. Brass down the collar and the usual sort of stuff. I've seen some real crazy stuff on gun ranges. Also some stuff in ERs that would gag a maggot. I retired in 93. Since then it's been civilian ranges. Trust me I have a very healthy respect for what happens when a FTF goes boom because someone didn't know enough to keep it down range and deal with it properly.

Appreciate the comments though. The day one gets too cocky is probably the day it gets blown off. My favorate credo: "If you gonna be stupid, you better be strong... because sorry ain't gonna hack it."

Welcome to the site.
I have a Mendi pistol made in Spain that my brother gave me. It has an blue octagon barrel with the numbers 3221 and Hawes along with Mendi and Spain stamped on it. Just checking to find out if this is a replica or an original.

I not sure how to attach a picture for you to review. The one I have sorta looks like that, it has engraving on the grip and a brass button on the side. engraving on the metal.
