This looks like a want to buy ad but it is actually a what am i looking for query.
I have 4 .308 1903 A1 Springfield barrels that i got out of a dead relatives garage. I would like to make working weapons out of them, but i am unsure of what kind of actions i will be needing for them. Any assistance would be appreciated and links to websights even more helpful.

By asking the question I'm thinking you are not familiar with firearms. If that is the case I would recommend you sell the barrels. What you are talking about isn't a beginners project.

Well i do have a gun smithing degree but ill admit that i do not have a lot of experience. I intentionally left my first post vague hoping that i would get more information than i really needed so that i could gain more knowledge. Specifically I would like to know where i could purchase a action and trigger assembly that will fit an old .308 barrel. I do not have very many web sights bookmarked for that sort of thing yet.

What you need is the receiver which is the actual firearm. Having just the barrels is like owning the wheels of a car and wanting to build a car from it. Yes it can be done but it would be be eaiser to just buy a car. It is far more common for someone to need to replace a barrel than to need a receiver. The odds of you finding four in a face to face meeting is not likely and you will need to search nationwide. There are several online gunsites around.
