ruger 350 rem mag

coming home today from the VA I stopped by my fav gun shop.I had a few of my military rifles on cosignment there and they were sold.
looking in his used gun rack and there was a nice ruger 77 with a nikon scope.I flipped the tag over and it was 450.00.I checked the cal and it was 350 rem mag.the orginal owner had passed and his wife had it on cosignment.arch said there a bunch of stuff that goes with it in back.
redding dies and shell holder 130 new unprimed brass and 100 rd's of reloads.I am going to pull the reloads down as they seem warm.
not a bad day.pics later

Re: ruger 350 rem mag

I'd imagine there is the potential for pain on both ends of that rascal.

Re: ruger 350 rem mag

I think so I started pulling the bullets on his handloads yesterday.there is a bunch of 225 gr bearclaws and speers sp I saved.I am thinking those 225 gr bullets @ 2500 shouldn't be that bad on the shoulder.I might pick up a lyman 204 gr lrngc mold( 358315) for plinking.

Re: ruger 350 rem mag

Good round in the .35 cal, yep its a thumper for sure at both ends. I'm still using the .338 Win Mag with a 225 gr core lock.

It's closer to the 35 Whelen that the 35 Remington. Good moose caliber.

As far as I know the M77 in 350 Rem Mag was a limited run. I have a All Weather I traded for that came out of Alaska.
