CS is a fine gentleman who saw the light, left California and moved to NH. It would be nice to hear how he is doing as he's a preacher and hopefully he's with a full church right now.

Both are big enough to do the job.

.380 ACP pocket carried most of the time due to the work required dress, 9mm on the weekends or if I'm making a trip out from home in the evening.

I sometimes carry a Walther 380 but mainly because my hand injury can only work the action. I've had two surgeries and once its healed its back to the 9mm.

Sometimes a 38spl+P, a 40 cal or a 45 ACP. Whatever suits me that day. Usually a 38 LCR or S&W 442. I just got a Kahr PM9 if I ever break it in that might be a new pocket gun.

It's more than not a Glock 23 gen4 .40SW or SP-101 3" barrel w/.357 or my LCR w .38+p. Depending on the trip away from homebase and situation.
Always with a high quality hollow point. Ranger Talon, Hornady CD. Always factory ammo for SD. Those are the three I carry most for SD.

Luck favors the prepared.

It looks like the safety swipes up for off safe. My P94 is the same way and it is my biggest critism of it. It is totally reliable, accurate, 40 caliber and I complain about the safety. To me John Browning got it right, why change. Guess I'm just getting old and set in my cranky ways.

The Beretta is a fine pistol from what I have heard and is reliable and a good shooter. Fine looking that is certain.

Yup, my only complaint is the safety position as well. When I do carry it, I do so in DA with the safety off like a DA revolver. I treat the safety like a decocking lever only; like a SIG.
