Tex ... My Springfield 1911 .45 Micro-compact gets the majority of holster time since I added it in early 2008, and my CZ 2075 RAMI (9mm) gets the rest (both carried condition 1)

At the moment mine is my Kimber Tactical Pro II in a Simply Rugged Cuda with my Smith SD40 in a steering column holster in the truck as backup.

The Bond is a super gun but not a very good defense gun too slow to shoot 2 shots and reload , plus it is not cheap to buy . The little Glock 27 is 40SW is the one that made me retired my 45 Randall 1911 I carried for over 20 yrs . The Glock 27 I carried for over 10 yrs and just switched to the Glock 23C and don't know why . Same gun just carries more ammo .

I'm on the road and only brought my main carry. I use a Blackhawk Sherpa holster.

None that I saved. But it shoots excellent. For a fairly inexpensive 1911 the fit/finish of all the parts is really impressive. I'm very happy with it. oh yea.....it also shoots the hell outta tin cans

I love your Mini 1911 .......... In the micro 1911 my Detonic was my favorite and I was sorry the day I sold . I offer my buddy a $100 profit 2 day later and he laughed and still has it since 1985 .

My carry needs are bit different. For me, it's something to carry in the woods for protection against four legged nasties, especially bears in those weeks in the spring when they come out of their dens and are hungry. This is not pistol, but it's darn near as handy - can easily shoot it one hand and I figure 10 shots of 44 mag ought to stop about anything in these parts. Now wears a peep sight. Also have my 444 lever gun if godzilla happens to be on the rampage.

I will be adding a commander sized 1911, though, for two legged varmints at some point.

You live in refrigerate and alway wearing a jacket my choice would be a commander . Where I live in toaster oven and I wear a tee shirt and shorts it is hard to hide anything but a mini . This the way I carry my Glock 23C . Remember NO one make fun of a man who carries a big gun in a purse .

I love my 1911 and I carried this one in pic for over 20 yrs and shot a ton of combat matches with it but weight and ammo capacity made me retire my 1911 for Glock and I know you hate ugly guns .

Yeah, but "beauty is, as beauty does" can make up for lack of looks, at least to some extent. The, too, we don't carry to show off our guns. Just so used to 1991s, though, I'm afraid I'd be fumbling around trying to find the safety and also wondering where the hammer went. Not quite ready to take the Glock plunge.
