New CCW

I was working at the gun shop cleaning guns that were traded in or sold to us and this came across my bench. The price was so good for me that I couldn't say no. I love the perks of working at the shop. And it's fun too.IMAG0049.jpg

Tell us more! I'd be afraid to work in a gun shop. I'd need up owing the shop money.

Shield in 9mm?
My dream retirement job would be at a gun shop and range.

new ccw

It's a S&W M&P Shield in 9mm. It's small and very comfortable to carry. I used to carry my SR9 but it wasn't very comfortable. Awesome find at a good price. Oh by the way, I haven't received a paycheck since I started. We have way too many goodies to choose from.

So you are an intern.
I carried my SR9C for a while. It was a bit heavy and thick so I wound up with a Khar CM9. I think the shield is just a bit larger than it. It should be a great carry gun for you.

One of the guys that works at one of the lgs collects vintage Winchesters. He has several hundred all or most are collectable. Not that they were the collectable models but rather the rare regular production models.

The SR9c is a fine carry gun. I often carry it in the colder months.

I also like the 17 round mag with the grip extension for home use.
