carry gun

I usually take 3 or 4 guns to the range but always finish by shooting the ammo in the carry piece. But I do reload it before leaving for home.

Shoot mine every month at least 100 rounds at 25 yards.

I usually shoot once a week with several different guns. If we take the nines out, I don't take my LCR, Walther 380, or 22. (I think it might be too much to keep straight ammo wise & enough guns to clean)

I like to start practice up close & personal with my carry guns (3-8yds), then work my way further back for fun shooting.

I like to use several kinds of paper targets, toys like the rubber self healing do-all balls & metal spinners. One toy that I love is a twisted metal target that flips around on the ground when its hit. (makes me laugh)

If I don't shoot every week, I feel guilty.

My actual carry gun [Ruger P-90 .45] gets shot less than my designated monthly practice pistol, which is my M&P .22.

My thoughts too the first time I ran across this old thread. Most of the members in this thread haven't been around for quite a while. I don't know the back story on the large colorful fonts used. But having gotten to know the nature of this forum I would guess it started out as a joke and just grew legs.

I've wondered the same thing. Might have been screens were smaller back then and hard to read the small print.

Snuffy had some odd habits with the size and color of fonts he used and others were playing off that.

Our last words were not friendly, I'm afraid. We got into it a bit and he left in a snit. This was on the other two forums.

He objected that I did not hate Muslims to his satisfaction. He insisted that if I did not accept his take on the Bible than I was against him, so I informed him I was against him.
