Re: caliber wars..........

If you need more power then a 45ACP make it a 460 Rowland which make a 10MM like a pellet gun . The kit is under $300 or buy 45ACP/ 460 Rowland in a Kimber under $1100 with both barrels . You can use your 45 ACP dies to reloading also ...

Re: caliber wars..........

I sure don't. I think the 45acp will do just fine in a pinch. The 357 would be a great second choice. First if it's a woods gun.

Re: caliber wars..........

its not the caliber of the gun used its the person doing the shooting no matter how good the caliber is if you can't hit the mark then its bullet in the air which means your dead or worse and the bullet keep on flying. With the right ammo and the person can shoot the gun and hit the mark the bg is dead period. The 357 mag. will not blow a body in half although there are those that would have us think that way. Nor will a 12 ga blow them in half. An M 79 will do that job very nicely but it is loud and does make a mess. I doubt they make one yet for ccw but I can always hope for one.

Re: caliber wars..........

The drawing is inaccurate. The 10mm guy would have an empty gun, cause there aint none of that crap on the shelves I see.

Re: caliber wars..........

good thing it only takes one hit from a 10 i guess...........

as high as ammo is getting, economic efficiency is getting married into stopping power......

last time i was in Academy, the hunting ammo was sold out except for the primo stuff.

At close to $40/box, ain't no wonder the "preminum" ammo was still available but the std remy green box vanilla cheaper stuff was all gone.........

Re: caliber wars..........

Guess I need a sign stating that they have to have enough money to pay for the shells I shoot them with.
