Revolver fever

I have developed revolver fever.....a rare disease that seems to strike about 30-40 years later than the first time. I have been shooting primarily 1911's since the 70's and do quite well with them for an old guy. Well, I decided I needed a 44 mag so I bought a Taurus Raging Bull 444. Of course back in the "Dirty Harry" days I had a model 29 that has long since gone away. This Taurus is incredible. 6.5" with ported barrel. The grip is great, the weight is perfect, and the felt recoil is like shooting a .357. I am very accurate with this gun and had forgotten how much fun revolvers are to shoot.......So I have now traded a 300 dollar rifle for a new Ruger SP101 in .357 with a 2 1/4 " barrel to carry. We'll see how that one shoots if it ever stops storming !!

Jack, with me, at least, you are preaching to the choir about revolvers and, especially, the 44 mag. Trust me, our semi-autos see very little action, anymore. Anyway, enjoy and keep posting.

This is a good place for revolvers whether they be SA or DA. And bolt and lever rifles are popular.

I've had that fever too. I love the .44 magnum. It's very versatile.
