Here's another old S&W that I've had for a number of years. It spent most of it's life inside of a Railway Express safe. It's a Model 1905 4th change 6" barrel. I got it at an auction when they closed the station years ago. I believe I paid between $ 75 to $ 100 back in the early to mid 70's. This one dates back to the late 1920's. They just don't make em like that anymore...and yes it goes to the range now and then. It is very accurate at 21 ft combat range as it was designed around the 158gr cast lead bullet. I would like to thank you folks for putting up with this old guy with a lot of old stuff. ![]() ![]() ![]() Rich S&W 1905 4TH CHANGE |

Put up with you? Rich, you've added immensely to this forum for me. I may shoot the heck out of semi autos, but I'm still very much a revolver gal at heart. Keep them coming. Loving it.

I see an old revolver and I always come back to the same thought if it could only talk what stories it could tell. | |

I don't think you could be more welcome here unless you were giving those treasures away. I love the posts and the pictures. I love fine revolvers, and yours are wonderful. What a great collection!

Hey, I'm getting older every day. These nice folks put up with me, and I don't add as much as you do. You have a really nice collection. That's a nice Smith. Even if it spent years in a safe, it was all ready to do the job. Just being there probably made a few people more comfortable. |
