Colt Oficial Police 1954

This is one of my .38's that's going to one of my grand daughters pretty soon.
It's an old Colt Official Police. A pretty good shooter and should be a good
starter for her. She's shot it and fell in love with it so it's going to be hers in
a couple of weeks. She has a .22 but really liked shooting the .38 so what
else could I do. She knows that I love my S&W's so she figured she could
talk me out of the Colt...didn't take too much talkin. Here's a couple of pics
Rich.

Wow. Really nice. I have an old Trooper that looks like that but has adgustable sights and is .357 Magnum. I really like the feel. What a great gift for her, an excellent gun to learn on and use. The craftsmanship on those Colts just can't be beat. Too bad it is getting so hard to get parts for them. They really are a joy.

Great classic. The prices on used Colt DA revolvers have gone though the roof, so most of the younger generation will never get to shoot one. Sad. Even I have only had the opportunity to shoot a couple.
