I have one and they are great. Any 22 caliber round will fit. I think it will take 70 shorts, 50 Long Rifle or 30 WMR. They are made by Marbles.

Eventually the bumps under the lid wear down and it won't stay closed. But, they last long enough for what they cost.

I have one, too; sure beats an old metal band aide box held together with tape.

For when I just need to carry a few rounds, I use those plastic 35mm film cans. They hold enough for one tube magazine, or a couple of sixgun reloads. Got a bag of them for free at a camera shop a few years back. I got clear ones, to see what's in them.

I like the compact design of the Catch.22. Thanks for the link.
When shooting my Marlin Model 60 I tote this. I don't remember who makes it. It holds 15 rounds of .22LR in each tube. There are about 8 tubes I believe. I got tired of trying to stuff it in my pants, so I drilled a hole through the top end and mounted the strap. Now I just throw it over my shoulder and am ready for quick reloads.

I have two of them for my Henrys but seldom use them. Although the last time I shot in the cold I used one.

Santa just delivered one to me from a FAR AWAY GALAXY. I think our boy named Sue might know something about this.

Yep. I think he got Calamity a couple too.

He should have known you already had some but he was hoping you didn't.

I needed more. I'm marking them with different types of rimfire so I have one for each caliber.

I have the 11 round model. Made by Spee-D-Loader. It works great for loading my Henry Mare's Leg. Love it for loading shorts dropping 15 of those little buggers one by one takes time.
I just shoot at a range so your strap modification really wouldn't help me. But for walking the woods it would be great.

I may just order a Catch22 just because I like gadgets.
