Here is the 1st 2 target I shot . I only shot it a 8 meter till I get a sight picture , anchor point and grip I like . I double box target box and so I can recover all my lead balls and after careful inspection none were deformed . I missed the target totally 4 time and hit my shed 1 time and it was 3 ft to my right and put a big dent in it . ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by tx gun runner; 04-28-2016 at 11:42 AM. |

I just shot mine at a large road sign from about 50 feet. It could easily shoot that far but the gravel I was using make it go every which way. It headed out straight and would then curve.

Once I get grip , sight picture , anchor point all figured out and perfected I will shoot the short range before moving to longer ranges . ![]() ![]() |

I got the windage down in just a few shots but was shooting high or low. The sign is rather big so hitting it was about the same as you hitting paper at 8 meters.

I shot 2 targets today and they were great and all in the black . I'm get to feel at home with it but there was 3 shot that when 2 ft off the target and I don't know why . If I figure it out I move target out to maybe 25 yds . ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I figured out why every once in a while it shoot 2 ft off target . The ball is is hitting the bottom of the frame of the slingshot . The ball runs very near the frame and the bottom is 4" long and the extra power band makes your wrist tilt back a little bit and which makes the ball hit the flat part of the frame and you get the flyers . This will not happen in a normal slingshot . I order a lighter pull band and I'm think I will get or make a different design slingshot . I'm building a target frame and back stop for outside to stop pellets , BB's and slingshot balls . I will be able to recover all my slingshot ammo in a pan . |

That's some impressive work, TGR. Have always loved the simplicity and compactness of these things. We did shoot sling shots quite a bit as kids and though that was such a long, long time, ago, I remember that we got pretty good with them. Had one of the original Wrist- Rockets, too. Could just barely pull it. ![]() I also know that they can be used for hunting. These things are not toys. Have often thought about carrying a folding slingshot when out on the bicycle for use when I encounter aggressive dogs. Figure I could shoot paintballs and that should be enough to keep a dog away without doing serious harm to the dog. Could use the ball bearings on the more dangerous stuff. |

Like the vanes on an arrow hitting the rest. It looks like a knuckleball.

I shoot firecracker in my slingshot to keep cat out of my yard from pissing on my car and cover . They will fly 25 Yds no problem . I have a lighter on a string around my neck so after I light the firecracker I can just drop it . I have big firecracker with a long fuse so iI can take careful aim . ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I have been know to do 2 pumps on and air gun and sting their behind. They don't come back. I figure if they are on our 10 acres they are running deer. You can hear the cats hollering "Incoming". Last edited by Terry_P; 05-06-2016 at 09:31 AM. |
