That's a good price. I like the foam kits that separate the pistol and magazines, but they want too much money to buy one.

So what is in a metal ammo can that causes cancer in California? We all know there is a cancer in CA but I thought the causes were streaming in over the border. Sorry for the off topic I just couldn't help myself. |

appreciate the heads up........i was thinking of buying a plastic one for my bricks of primers but i might make it to the big city in the next day or two and go to Academy. ..........it would not hurt to get them off the shelf and into a can.......better safe than sorry....... |

My local Sportsman's Warehouse sells new surplus genuine GI cans for $17. Used to be a dealer at the flea market that sold used ones for ten bucks. A can of Krylon Italian Olive would repaint two of them.

Coincidentally, I just saw today in Sam's Club that they have a deal on GI ammo cans. You get both a .50 and a .30 for $15. They ARE China made, but look identical to genuine. No difference in metal, seal, welds. I'd buy some if I needed any.
